Littlemill is a truly unique holiday cottage in what is arguably one of Arran’s most stunning locations. Kildonan is in the South of Arran and is widely regarded as one of the most picturesque villages on the island, and the cottage is located right beside the beach. Boasting breathtaking views of the islands of Pladda and Ailsa Craig, the Ayrshire coast, as well as the Irish coast on a clear day. From this idyllic base you can watch a vast array of wildlife including seals, otters, dolphins, sea birds and other wildlife around the shoreline and enjoy the most spectacular sunsets over Bennan Head.

The house itself sleeps up to 6 guests and comprises one double bedroom and one twin upstairs plus a sofa bed in the living room on the ground floor. Also on the ground floor there is a kitchen/dining room and a living room with fully operational pool table and open fire. There is even a conservatory with a thriving and grape producing vine! This self catering cottage previously belonged to an artist and is full of old world charm. If you like to stay somewhere interesting and with a bit more character then this quirky and unusual house is for you. Facilities are a little basic, however what the cottage lacks in mod cons it more than makes up for in charm and romance. The owners live next door and will be there to tend to your needs and ensure your stay is an enjoyable one. There is also a small private garden with seating and sun deck for your use. This is an ideal destination for couples or families and is close to all local amenities. The local shop is 15 minutes walk away and stocks a selection of groceries and an off licence. The hotel is also nearby and serves coffees, lunches, bar and restaurant food. Pets by prior arrangement only.
